Thanks for using Appointment Reminder to make automated phone, text message, and email reminders to the clients of your professional services firm. We’ve been operating since 2010, and like all businesses, we periodically review whether the services which we offer match the needs of our customers.
We’re changing our standard offerings to new customers, effective as of February 1st, 2015. All existing customers, and anyone who signs up for a free trial by the end of January, will keep their existing plans/pricing. We’ll honor it indefinitely, as our thanks for helping us get this far.
Existing customers are free to upgrade to the new pricing at any time. Send us an email or, after February 1st, check out your billing page within the Appointment Reminder system.
What Is Changing And Why?
- We’re changing the names and quota levels of our plans, to better reflect the kind of businesses which use Appointment Reminder most successfully.
- We’re changing the range of price points we offer, to better match Appointment Reminder with the customers who are most successful with using our services.
- We are introducing publicly available pricing for medical providers, with full HIPAA-compliance. (HIPAA is US healthcare privacy legislation which obligates medical providers and firms handling their data, like us, to adopt a suite of privacy and security enhancing policies.) Previously, HIPAA-compliant services were only available via custom contracts with us.
- We’re adding new features which will be of interest to our higher-end customers, such as concierge onboarding (customized assistance in transitioning to Appointment Reminder from existing solutions), integration with other systems one’s business may use, professionally voiced telephone reminders, and custom capabilities to upload/download data from one’s Appointment Reminder account.
- We’re using revenues from our customers to enhance the service in ways large and small, from hiring more team members to provide better customer support more quickly, to giving the service some under-the-hood upgrades, to developing new features which will benefit all of our customers.

Annual Pre-payment
As always, customers will be able to pre-pay for a year of services for a one month discount on the total. For example, a customer on the non-medical Small Business plan ($99 a month) would pay 11 * $99 = $1,089 for a year of services, which is a savings of $99.
We can accommodate payment via credit card or check/purchase order for customers electing annual pre-pay. Customers on month-to-month billing can pay via any major credit card.
